Where the company name
and logo come from
The name AMITA is derived from the Sanskrit words "amitayus" (infinite life) and "amitabha" (infinite light), both of which are associated with our aspiration to achieve a sustainable society.
The reddish brown used for the AMITA logo design is Indian red. The Indian red color comes from iron oxide commonly found in Earth's crust and is also the color of human blood. Earth's crust represents natural capital, and human blood represents life, or relational capital.
Our corporate emblem "Colors"
This emblem symbolizes a human profile composed of nine tiles of colors and signifies AMITA's purpose.
●At AMITA, every employee expresses their colors (individuality) while uniting to work toward a common goal as a team with a single face (unity).
●AMITA coordinates various resources and industries to discern the best mix as part of its efforts to establish a value chain that makes the most of the colors (distinctive characteristics) of clients, communities, and natural capital.
Our corporate message:
What is Value?
Every AMITA employee always asks themselves at work: "What value can we create and offer in our business and services to build a society that values personal and community relationships, rather than financial or material affluence?"
Our corporate culture:
A team of ordinary people can do something extraordinary.
We are a team of like-minded individuals committed to achieving a sustainable society.
Individually, each of us may be insignificant, but collectively we can make a difference.
We believe that a team of like-minded individuals who cherish others' happiness and hope for a better future can create boundless value.
