The examination view of ASC Aquaculture Certification

Nowadays, the amount of fishery production tends to increase in the world. Also, the production of farmed fish is growing year by year. On the other hand, there is a report(※) from FAO that 28.8% of fishery resources in 2011 were at biologically unsustainable situation due to overharvest. In recent years, there is a growing tendency to provide safety, sustainable and responsible food at international events or public events, like Olympics, Paralympics Games, and international conferences. Now it is time to enhance the importance of responsible management of marine products.
